Thursday 25 March 2010: An Evening With The Management

York City's management team of Martin Foyle, Andy Porter and Steve Torpey will be taking fans' questions in the York City FC Social Club (YO30 7AQ) on Thursday 25th March.

The Social Club will open at 6.30pm and the event will start at 8pm. We would advise an early arrival to guarantee obtaining the best seats!

As usual, there will be two question and answer sessions when the management team will try to answer all the questions from the audience.

During the interval, there will be a raffle, with several prizes up for grabs. They include tickets for a York City game, a bottle of wine, tickets for the Bootham Crescent Beer Festival, a big box of chocolates and the ever popular navvies breakfast!

There is no admission charge for this event and everyone is welcome. Under 18 year olds must be with an adult member of family.

Just turn up on the night and come prepared with your questions for Martin, Andy and Steve.

April's Quiz Night in the York City FC Social Club will take place on Thursday 1st April.

The quiz starts at around 8.30pm, with the doors opening at 7pm.

Entry costs £1 per person and teams should include no more than 4 adults. Under 18 year olds are welcome, if they are with an adult member of family.

There will be prizes for the three highest scoring teams. Prizes include drinks vouchers, cans of beer, lager and cider, snacks from Country Products (www.countryproducts.co.uk) and a few other mystery items.

If you don't win anything in the quiz, you could still go home with a prize from the raffle. Tickets cost £1 and the prizes include a bottle of wine, a navvies breakfast and tickets for a York City game.

Just turn up on the night and join the fun. Everyone is welcome

During the evening, there will also be the annual Spring Raffle draw. The first prize is £250 and there are many other excellent prizes on offer. You will have the opportunity to buy tickets on the evening of the draw.

The quiz starts at around 8.30pm, with the doors opening at 7pm. The quizmaster will be Dave Potter.

Entry costs £1 per person and teams should include no more than 4 adults. Under 18 year olds are welcome, if they are with an adult member of family.

The 6th annual York City Fans' Darts Tournament takes place in the York City FC Social Club (YO30 7AQ) on Saturday 29th May 2010.

Previous winners are Tony Mercer, Ian Rankeillor, Patrick Makin, Simon Smith and Phil Chapman and we hope that all of them will be able to take part in this year's event.

Friday 25 June 2010: Bootham Crescent Beer Festival

The 3rd annual Bootham Crescent Beer Festival will take place over the weekend of Friday 25th - Sunday 27th June 2010 in the York City FC Social Club (YO30 7AQ).

As it will be taking place at the same time as the 2010 World Cup Finals in South Africa, there will be a World Cup theme.

You will be able to sample some fine ales, ciders and lagers (from all around the world) whilst watching the big games on the TVs around the Social Club.

As in 2009, the event will be raising money for the York City Youth Fund, which has been set up by parents of York City Football Club's youth players to raise funds to save the Youth Team.
